Vaginal dryness is commonly caused by a reduction in the production of estrogen. This is usually the case during perimenopause and post menopause period. Exercise help to alleviate many of menopause symptoms including dry skin especially doing daily pelvic floor exercises to strengthen the vaginal tissues.

If you have vaginal dryness, it is important to remember that sexual arousal and orgasm will become slower during menopause. Don’t let this problem refrain you from enjoying sex as there are many ways to lubricate the skin and keeping it healthy. In addition, it is important that you communicate this problem with your partner. Tell him what you are experiencing and ask him for support and help.
